we couldn't get out onto the salt since it rained last night and there was about a foot of water over it.

Thanks for the "heads up" on the hotel.   We were able to get a room in Salt Lake and not have to worry about shower fixtures falling down on us.   It was nice meeting Stephanie and spending time with our Northern Nevada family.   :D

Just goes to show...You only need 2 tools. Duct Tape and WD40.? :D If it moves, but is not supposed to, use Duct Tape. If it is supposed to move and doesn't, use WD40.

Duct tape for the mouth, WD-40 for........well.....just use your imagination.
 
The shots of the Salt Flats are incredible!  What was more enjoyable was hearing Mike & Steph telling me tonight about the duct tape, seeing the pics now is just plain hillarious!! Don't worry, Steph, before your visit, I will get the fixtures all taped up, you will believe this is a 5 start hotel during your stay...  :laugh:  Love the pics!!!
 
Oky Dokey... I sorted through 700 plus pics... and chose about 80 to upload online.
Again... Ken and I really enjoyed hanging out with you all in the Black Hills of South Dakota!
