I kind of like the 3rd one, but it may be to near the cladding.

So what kind of mileage are you getting.

truck is saying 18  that's a mix of 4x  town and highway.  I have to get a few tanks through her and see what happens on paper  the 8.1 did about 12 in same driving on paper

For the next time you are scavenging how about these for a wheel option? Looks like a set of Hummer wheels with late model 2500 P/U center caps. The look nice on this 2500 P/U at work I think they would look good on a 2500 Avalanche.

Hey Jon... You should send the pics and write up of this project to GEARZ. They give some pretty cool stuff in the "what are you working on?" segment.

So what ended up happening with the second fuel tank?  I know you were messing about with another stock one, did you end up mounting it passenger side opposite stock drivers tank?  Where did you route the exhaust if so, and did you plumb the second tank to "transfer" to the main tank or run separately and independently with the fueling system?

Can I put in a pre-order for the next one for you to build  >:D

It's running the two stock 2500 fuel tanks now. The small one above the spare has a transfer pump on it to the main tank. The stock pump in that tank didn't like the diesel, I figure, and died. I haven't finished the wireing so once a month I empty it with a battery charger hooked to it
