that looks cool.  you need to paint the chrome power bar up front black, that would look sweet with your bowtie.

btw, how did you paint your trailer and how much of the skin did you have to replace, repair, take off before paint?

It was nothing fancy, I used spray paint (the good stuff of course) for the exterior. Aside from the paint the only exterior work I did was clean it up (a lot), sealed all the windows & vents because of a couple leaks, recoated the entire roof with an elastic RV roof sealer, and replaced or cleaned all the lights and reflectors. I do need to replace the cracked fender covers though.

I took a very cheap route because I figured it was enough for what I needed. Funny thing is that all that stuff has held up remarkably well and I get a ton of compliments on it.  People taking pictures, wanting to see inside, and wondering what all I did to it.

Here is a front shot, I'll have to get a better on of just the grill for you guys - it made a big difference for those who will notice IMO
I did it without removing the grill using lots of masking tape and Krylon Fusion paint - even up close it looks like a metal grill.

I did the same method when I painted mine.

Welcome Hawaii-Rider.  We got some good folks around here.  Glad you found us.

As far as the platform, I used just standard 1/2" plywood.  It was light and seemed easier to cut.  I cut the board to fit door to door so that there is no gaps.  Then I just placed the cut board in the back and mark cuts from there until it fit like I wanted.  The carpet I used was from home depot.  It was upfront in a box for RV's rugs.  It was $12.99.
The install of the carpet was the hardest, the cuts that I made for it to fit tight made for it harder to wrap the carpet, but I made it work.  It turned out great.  used it this weekend to Pt Townsend.  Dogs loved it.  Worked great.

The second one is cool cause it would match the bling you have around the AV, however, I like the first one cause it matches the bottom part of the doors where you painted the cladding and brings out the chrome side step without taking too much attention away from it.

Oh you mean this:

Well I made the light bar from a computer dress up kit, & the spots were from an auto parts store. You can't just install the light bar direct, you will need a 12volt Dc to DC regulator, which I made myself.
