vacuum pump

Hi there. Not sure how all this works, thought I'd throw this out there. 2003 - Z71 need 89058946 - Brake Booster Vacuum pump. My brakes, ummm, don't work so great when I need to stop. Not a problem for the guy in front of me, yet... So just looking for a few parts etc. Any ideas, direction...
