OK, so I cannot have my cladding ( :E: :needhug:)

But how about two-tone?? I mean, I know we can line-ex it, but if it came as an option, I would do it.? The factory could do some sort of colored spray to protect the botom.? Something like this...

The blue one is like the Ford trucks with the goldish bottom.? I always liked that look on many colors.? Just an idea Chevy!? If I cannot have my cladding, I would pay extra for a protective coating in a color!

Looks more like an Avalanche that way...at least a little

that red-black combo looks hot! i said this elsewhere else but someone should make a 3d type graphic decal that looks like the body armor.

I agree with the Red/ Black combo..... almost like the Southern Comfort Edition......  :notworthy:

A decal may look bad upclose, but I think a type of spray liner would look good. ?If it followed the factory lines, it would look really nice. ?I mean, isn't there some sort of a thicker, more durable paint they could use? ?On an older I car I had, the unerside was sprayed with a metallic blue heavy paint. ?It was very "orange-peel" in look, and may look decent on the AV if it was in the proper color. ?I dunno. ?I am grasping at straws here. ?I am starting to like the new AV, but won't buy one unless it comes cladded (I know, I know, it will never happen) or if I can get it sprayed like my pic.

I really liked the red. ?It reminded me of the original concept AV in red. ?If it looked like this, and had HID as an option, I would have to seriously thingk about it.

I'm sure you could put Line-X or Rhino hide down there and it would look fine.

Good concept work!? Two-tone would look hot.? ?:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

General Motors folks reading this thread - here is a solid 2008 model year ideal.? Two-tone paint.? You could color coordinate the two tone option with the interior.? Tan/brown gets a tan/brown lower treatment, gray gets a black/charcoal/gray/silver lower treatment.? Obviously you wouldn't match a color that didn't work with the combo (e.g. tan lower and silver upper).

I know this has been done by other car manufacturers.? The Rhino lining of the lower half is very interesting if you're an interstate warrior (paint chips) or do the off-roading thing a lot.

The Silverados are offered two tone, so it is being done by Chebby already.

I agree, the red/black is awsome.

If I were in the market for the new AV, and the '07 grew enough on me, I would not hesitate to drive it new off the lot and straight to get the bottom and bumpers Rhino-Lined in black like the top picture. That's probably the best and cheapest way to somewhat simulate the cladding or some kind of armor.

I think the 2 tones look REALLY nice.  I've seen a few D*dges with a 2 tone gray metallic- it looked TIGHT!!!

Nice job. The black and red look sharp.?

To anyone from GM that might be reading this thread.

WE WANT CLADDING. Is this a posibility for 08'? I like the new ones even though the design is different but the cladded tough looking exterior is what sold alot of us on the AV.

Anyone start a poll on wether to have cladding or not...

Heck I will..

I like the red & black too

As far as 2 Toned...hard to beat a Chevy AV when it looks like this.....NorCal member, DBoss' AV is B-E-A-utiful!!!  Even got the bottle of Southern Comfort to go with it...that's class AV....

Got to like black cherry.

I like it, but I think I would like it better if it were upside down, you know with the dark on the bottom.  I guess I am just thinking it would look more like cladding, so maybe it is good how it is.  I do like it though!
