please do not post any pictures of an avalanche or ext with the camoflauge. personally im getting kinda tired of seeing the exact same pic 2-3 time a week. 'please, if you find a pic without the camo, please post it. but until then please quit posting the same pics!

Get high-speed.  That way, when you click on something, and youve already seen it, all you waste is 7 seconds of your time.  Im sure with the 12 times you have clicked on the "same" pic, you have spent (12x7=) 85 seconds.... probly shorter than what it took to type this "great" thread.

here ye go. the real thing
assuming, of course, that GM doesn't own a copy of photoshop. considering how tight lipped they have been about the Avalanche, and that the one picture in many different colors doesn't look quite "right" in a few spots, makes one wonder.
:dunno:

its all good!

kinda makes it fun trying to figure out what it will look like.

biggest news to me is the interior improvements.  I know you folks that have had avs for a long time are somewhat critical of the outside (ridgeline comps, etc.) but it looks pretty similar to me save the cladding (which only looks 'right' to me with bigger tires) and the front end.  I am OK with both and the front end can be cleaned up with a grill kit and/or bars and lights.

I am happy thus far be/c it looks like the 07 will meet our needs and save me some money over an EXT plus get better gas mileage and part time 4wd.  I am going to try and drive a tahoe to get a feel for the new frame and interior.  Bad news is that I will have to wait several moons in order for dealers to come off sticker on the hard-loaded models.

oh well...

dabird - I think you will find the ride of a Tahoe TOTALLY different from an Av. That was my experience anyway.
Might be kind of an indicator though.

nice photoshoped Avalanche With Body Hardware.....

By the way it looks cool

Great job, jupiter.  If they came like that, I would take back everything I've said about them.

The blue one is cool, maybe put black mirrors on off the Chevy Kodiak

If they actually made the Av look like the Blue Phtot shop mock up , I beleive most of us current owners would be more interested in trading up.

sort of but what's with the red ? plus those are flipped up

they are what I meant, cool to show them in UP position so you an see them,
big mirrors like on the 2500/3500 crewcab or Kodiak mirrors fit it nice.

The Kodiak I saw had these type of mirrors but hanging from the top like a bus type these are actually from a hummer and the red is a poor attempt at marker lights/singnal, it really just covers the H2 emblem

I was thinking if mirrors flipped up like that you could get them out of the way but still be able to see out of them some backing up rather than fold in where you can't use them at all. Since the truck tapers up if it was done right you wouldn't sacrifice width but still have some mirror function.  ???

Thats a good idea maybe you should suggest it to GM

If it hasn't been suggested already maybe I'll get a check for the notion.

You mean they would rotate horizontal for normal driving and rotate vertical for tight-spots

you got what I mean, they stick out but rotate up rather than fold in.
maybe they could do both, fold flat in if really needed, I'm unsure
