GM ESI Techline service manual software

Here is what the seller stated when I asked him some questions about his CD set that he is eBaying:

"Has every GM bulletin up to 04/01/2004. Has all GM service manuals up to now. You need no password. Is a stand alone software. Does not work online. Just install and go. If you need updates for the future as they come out I will let you know. If the base software gets changed in the future you will have to update to the new base to receive more updates."

P.S. - I just bought a set from him today, we shall see how encompassing soon.

Please let us know if they are for an 04 as I have been trying to buy the manual on line and they tell me it is not available yet. So I suspect this is some sort of pirate copy but it could be good enough or even the real McCoy.

I just bought the ESI Techline CD's but haven't installed them yet; they are supposed to have all 04's and even some 05's. They appear to be authentic, will post results.

It works. All TSB's and Service Manuals and other stuff through 04, some 05 models (year goes back to 1980). It's connecting to the Apache server somehow and came with one application CD, five data CD's, and one update CD. No registration keys or anything like that but it's working for me. (y)

Where did you purchase it, and how much did it cost?(if you don't mind me asking)

Thanks, Stevie P

I bought this system in 2002 shortly after i got my Av. It is very handy, just like a service manual but it covers alot more vehicles. By the time I figured out how to update from GM. my version was to old to get the updates :8: :9:.......Oh well.

I wish I had the newer version but am to cheap to buy it right now.
You regularly see the CD's on ebay.
