Missing Mud-sill on 07 Av

First I'd like to thank Avialanche again for taking the pics of the 07 Avalanche. While looking at the one of the doors open I noticed the door-sill scratch protection seemed to be missing.... Now since mine is an 02 I'm not sure if this has been removed from previous editions of the Avalanche, or maybe it was made optional. Anyway here is a highlighted pic so you can see what I mean.

maybe they just moved them to the doors so that they won't get torn up... My kids have already torn up two getting in and out on my 05....  I'm thinking of relocating them myself.
 
I'm sure there will be many aftermarket companies that will offer a pleasant alternative for you to mod with  :love:

your kid's destroyed the hard plastic :eek:
 
Heck if I put them on my AV's roof my kids would climb up there to walk on them.  But then they'd be called shingles and not Door entry or Mud sills.......I can't figure out yet how one would wipe their feet or step up onto the door if you put them there. Oh! I've got it ......you enter the AV walking on your hands.....feet up.



 
Maybe it's a Prototype and they just hadbn't put them on. They weren't std. until '99 were they? (Our '96 Explorer has them....std.  >:D )
When I was working for a Used Truck Dealer every truck we brought in he had a bedliner installed, and I talked him into putting still plates on. Covered up a lot of scratches!
