So I had the RC 5 inch lift put on my 07 Avalanche ltz I deleted the air ride but the rear sags about 2 inches lower tan the front I was wondering if anyone knows if the rear coil springs are softer on the ltz because of the air ride than on a Avalanche with out air ride

Rear coil springs on a factory air leveling system truck are of a much softer rate since the air shocks always carry part of the rear load.

If you delete the air leveling shocks, but don't replace the rear coil springs, your truck will sag.

And it will sag even worse under a light load in the rear.

Arnott Industries has everything you will need to either properly delete the air leveling system or to fix it correctly.

My rears started leaking a few months ago. Added a couple oz. of green slime to buy some time. It sealed the air leak but I could feel the difference in ride quality. Fast forward to last Thursday evening. I remote started and was winding up an air hose about 20' from my driver mirror and heard a shotgun decibel level boom with a loud metal tink sound at the end. I live kind of rural, no neighbors for a few hundred yards and heavy woods all directions. In the 3 steps it took me to rush for the cover of my engine block, my mind raced from 'neighbors shooting at a really bad angle?' to 'Crazed ex?' to 'M80 Cherry Bomb?' ......As I cautiously scanned the tree line for snipers, the ringing in my ears began to lessen, and I heard the compressor running and the sound of air rushing. Laughing at myself as I looked under the rear end I saw green slime everywhere and thought well at least I've already been looking at them for months and know what I want.

That story has nothing to do with your dilemma, but too much irony to not share. Just glad nobody recorded my reaction

I've seen longer coil springs for lifted vehicles multiple places, but they weren't cheap $800-1100. But I think you could solve your issue with these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/spx-smx-15200/make/chevrolet/model/avalanche/year/2007. IDK if they're softer on the 2007 but if yours are or are worn out then a new set of even these: https://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=56412 HD monsters + the lift spacers is gonna be less than $300. Good luck I cringe every time I see a nice lifted truck sagging in back.

Speaking of good looking trucks.....your looks incredible! Nice work Whats tire and wheel size and offset? 33/12.50/20 20x10 -18??

Thanks that's an awesome story and yeah 33x12.5 22x10 wheels -24 offset 2inch wheel spacers on the rear
