Spokane Area Cruise - Oct 26th - Any Interest?

Gauging interest in a Spokane area cruise for Saturday, October 26, 2002. The plan would be to visit the only ORV park run by the state of Washington. A one-square mile paradise of hill climbing, scrambling, and open field play with a river crossing thrown in to make life interesting. I would suspect that dust wouldn't be a huge issue due to the time of the year, heck may even break lucky and get some mud.

I would consider this a decidely 4WD event, although there is some basic off-roading you could do in a 2WD, kind of depends on where you go. The plan would be as follows:

1) Independent drive out on Friday night and Saturday AM.

2) Muster at some easy to find point in Spokane around 9:30 or 10:00 AM

3) Go to the ORV park and have fun. Would also be a great place to bring your "toys" aka dirt bikes, four-wheelers, etc.

4) Explore some of the other sites at Riverside Park weather permitting including some easy hiking for those interested.

5) Have some good food

6) Indepdent PM departure from Spokane on Saturday.

I would love to go on your Spokane run. Unfortunatly I'm living in Ohio now. Don't know why I left Spokane.

For those who choose to make the cruise I know it will be alot of fun. Riverside Park is very nice. The trip to the East coast of Washington isn't bad either.

I might be interested. I have a Boise/Moab trip coming up the following weekend though. I won't know if I'm going to go to Spokane until probably a couple days before.

I would love to go some time but I will be Flying in to Boise, ID on the 26th from San Antoino, TX I would love to do the ORV park that would be fun (I might want to take my running bords off) Sorry Chief sounds like fun but I will have to go next time

Looks like the Spokane cruise was cancelled for lack of interest.
Are there no Av's in Spokane??
