Subwoofer In Doors?

Has anyone tried to install a subwoofer in the doors, possibly an 8"? It looks like there is room in the front doors for an 8" sub and a 4" component speaker with the tweeter mounted in the windshield pillar. I have not had the door panel off to actually measure the space available.

Now this would be an interesting mod. I would think the back doors would be a good location.

This topic has been discussed as well. Try the search function. Some members have tried it and some gave good reasons as to why it would not work out. Do a search for sub enclosures, or sub locations. There is a wealth of information in the forum already on sub woofers.
