Hey everyone. I didn't see this fix to solve this problem so I just wanted to share the solution I found for my passenger side saddlebag. If you open the saddlebag and look at the back of the locking mechanism you'll notice a plastic back piece that is supposed to catch the metal latch hook witch causes it to latch. I noticed that this wasn't catching so I pushed the button to push the black plastic piece out and then poured near-boiling hot water on it and applied slight pressure to the top to alter the angle toward the latch. Worked like a charm. I hope this helps some people.
