What do I need to install a ddx418 in an 04?

I just bought an 04 z71 with the Bose system and want to install my old radio which is a kenwood ddx418. I want to keep the steering wheel controls for sure. I just joined this site yesterday and am very excited about my truck. I see there is all kinds of interface adapters and am unsure of which one is best.
I called the local car stereo shop and they quoted me 518.00 for all the adapters and their labour. That's more then I paid for the head unit. Lol

You will need a radio harness, an antenna adapter, mounting hardware, and a PAC adapter to keep steering wheel controls.  If you want to keep the door chimes and/or Onstar, you will need a second adapter.

Check www.crutchfield.com or give them a call and tell them what you have and they will give you the right information.  You should be able to get all the parts for less than what your local shop wants, and you can do it all yourself.
