02 Factory Amp Bypass/Once and For all

Does anyone know of another link or has any photos on how to bypass factory amp? I kind of get the concept but i'm more of a visual do'er.....If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks in Advance

Run a search on the Forum. There are tons of stuff for this bypass. After digging a bit when I started mine, I found one thread that listed it and I found another where someone had taken before and after pix of the Saturn harness plug. Thats what I actually used.

So I got my setup figured out! There's a red/pink wire on the smaller connector that is unused with the new radio and this just needs to be connected to the power amp wire on your new harness; I ordered my head unit from Crutchfield and it came with a free install kit an tech support with a complete booklet on how to install everything for free! I still ended up doing the amp bypass however. I bought the harness for the Saturn then pulled all the pins out, rearranged them and had a working bypass. There's an awesome thread on here with pictures that I'll try to dig up.I made a total of three just for the challenge

FYI: 2002 model year did not have BOSE option.

Here is how to do it, use the Metra 70-2021 and re-pin one side so it matches the diagram...

Has anyone used this one by Red Wolf ? is it the same thing just already repinned for an '02?

EDIT: i ordered the Red Wolf ‎RWF-XC04-2160 bypass ( linked above)

i installed it and new head unit in my 2002 today
it was a plug-n-play fit right out of the package nothing to repin
