I had this posted under another thread for a week with no response - sorry if it causes problems here but I need an answer from the experts. Somewhere I read where a member reported that the R&D headlight controller did not work on the 03. Now that the weather has warmed here in NW Wisconsin, and I finally have received the controller from R&D (they are moving) I want to do this mod and the FTDRL mod - will this work on my 03 ?

I also believe that if it is the same one they are selling for the 2002 that it will not work (at least with the instructions they provide).
Did you check the following post All 4 on High Mod ?? This will accomplish the same result for $1 ~ $2.
You can also do the "Better Method" Full Time DRLs with the same parts while you are in there

WesTexAVY - The lady at R&D "thought it ought to work" on the 03 - That is what prompted my post. Yes, I read all the posts and decided to try the controller for the headlight mod, and the moving of the double blue wires from the green block to the red block.
I am not at all comfortable using diodes, etc. but in re-reading both your posts (#227 and #55) I have decided to jump in, and will head to the local Radio Shack dealer this a.m. I work nights, so tomorrow morning (Sunday) I will try this. I will post positive results !!!! Thank you for all of your help and work on this mod - this site is super !!!!!!!

Altoona huh? ... I lived in Hudson/River Falls area for 7 years (parents still there) ... I think my High School football team killed yours every year LOL ... I use the R&D unit in my 2002, and prefer it over the all 4 mod ... The R&D controller just deals with the low amp wiring, and doesn't touch or overload the high amp wiring... Not sure about the mod the other guys have done... for $15 the R&D made much sense... I had 2 others on two Silverados with no issues... And some may tell you the R&D dims the lights; it doesn't... I probed the current at the lamps... ?
