03 Gauge Cluster Wiring

Ok.. this goes out to the wiring gurus...

I m looking at doing somethingwith my Facory 03 cluster but I need the pin numbers and wire colors of the factory harness going into the cluster.

I knowI am about to push it BUT here goes anyways... is it possible to figure out what goes to where on the circuit board?? Like what triggers the check engine light stuff like that.

Any info would be greatley appreciated.

Thanks Sperry. According to that schematic... the actual guage signals are fom the IPC serial 2 data link. Is it possible to get those schematics also??

ok.. here is the deal...

I started to make up my own gauge cluster with all Autometer Gauges and now I have an integration problem

Gauges I have so far...

5" Electric Speedo
3 1/2" Electric Tach 8K RPM
2 1/16th Fuel
2 1/16th Volt
2 5/8th Oil
2/58th Water

SES light
Water Light
Oil Light
Brake Light
Hi Beam Indicator
Turn Signal Indicator
Cargo Light Indicator
Shift Light

I made the harness up to run the interior lights to dim with the factory switch.. that was easy and also turn on with the factory auto lights.

I need to know if and how I can get the gauges and warning lights to work with the factory harness. I am pretty sure that all the functions I have listed run out of the PCM and into the factory gauge cluster. I need to figure out what wires to tap to get each to work.

Good luck getting it to work without a computer in the cluster... A lot of data goes to the IP cluster via serial data buss....
IMHO your attempt will not work... but I hope I'm wrong.
Please let us know how you make out..
