So says the General. In 2003 Cadillac with finally get a Suburban version of the Escalade with an all new interior to match the sportier image that Vice-Chairman Lutz has ordered Cadillac to take. These changes will appear in the currest Escalade (the Tahoe version isn't going away) and the EXT.
What does that mean? Well if GM made parts commitments with suppliers it may mean some of the stuff slated for the Escalade will trickle over into the Avalanche to burn through the parts. I know Ford is FAMOUS for this. You won't see things that are distinctive like grilles, or rims - but items like the trip computer, dash cluster, or other swappable non-distinctive parts could find a home in the Avalanche.
Sorry - no link to the story and no pictures of either the Burban Escalade or the new interior design.
