2004 Hummer Gets AV Style Midgate

General Motors announced to its Hummer dealers at the National Automotive Dealers Association conference that it will add a second bodystyle to the Hummer H2 lineup, the sport/utility truck (SUT) in 2004.

Like its brother the H2 SUV, the SUT will draw inspiration from its military heritage and mechanicals from the full-size GM SUV platform. Derived from the H2 SUV, the SUT will be functional, versatile and reconfigurable, adapting its own version of the midgate that defines the Chevrolet Avalanche.

Had an H2 out about 2 weeks ago. ?I was impressed, but the AV is still the one for me!
Going Monday to order my AV....finally!!!!!
