2004 vs 2003 5.3L CAI help?????

I am new owner of a 2004 Z71...and love it!!

I am shopping around for a Cold Air Intake. But I have some concernes.

1) Will K&N KN KIT fit a 2004?....are the engine and hood the exact same for 2003 and 2004?

2) Does Airaid's airaid Cold Air intake perform less then K&N since it does not include a Pipe, but simply a cone filter and box?

Bottom line I am looking for a CAI that will fit my car which documented by the manufacturer. Does anybody know of any??

Maybe find a local member with a 2003 and open hoods to compare....?

I cannot think they made that many changes to the engine bay that a 2003 would not fit....Heck I thinkn 2002 fit 2003 stuff...

I put an Airaid on my o4 and it fit just fine.
