2005 AVALANCHE - WHAT?S NEW
? New Models designators: LS and LT.
? Interiors will be common with Suburban.
? Revisions to Select-A-Units: Check Preferred Equipment groups carefully.
? Revised standard axle ratio for fuel economy improvements on 1500 Series models.
Refer to Power team charts.
? Specific low-speed throttle progression on all transfer cases with 4-Lo.
Allow a creep mode with subtler throttle control in 4-Lo for off-road applications.
? New Colours: Sandstone Metallic (15U), Bermuda Blue Metallic (26U)
Deleted Colours: Dark Green Metallic (47U)
? Moulding package (PCY) will be colour-keyed with specific exterior colours. Refer to
colour charts.
? Headlight switch will now have standard ?park in the dark? feature, which allows all front
lights to be turned off when vehicle is parked.
? New available ?Chrome Exterior Package? (CWB) and Touch Screen Navigation Radio

? Base inside rearview mirror does not include Auto Dimming feature, Compass and
Exterior Temperature display.

Not sure if you were replying to me, I was just asking the original poster about those 2 things as I had read them on the site here. Some of the stuff he added wasn't on the site.

I think it's gonna be called an '07. Whether it's out in '06 is another question.

The 2005 changes listed are for Canadian Avalanches. I believe on-star is being added on as standard equipment for 05 and you should see a slight increase in pricing

lights to be turned off when vehicle is parked. ~ that's pretty cool, too.
I am still looking for the 60/40 split migate, the duramax turbo deisel, and the quadra steer.
