New dash is quite nice. But, I will be hanging on to my cladded 03...maybe 08!

midgate is not flat in that last pic.... like existing...
 
After seeing all these pics, it's kinda growing on me, but I'd still like to see it in person.
 
Right. It's the same as previous Avalanches. That's the first thing I looked for. The vehicle just has cosmetic changes. I believe the gizmo on the interior "ceiling" is where the "camera for rear viewing" is located.

Engine probably looks just like the one in your AV.

I noticed that too. What the heck have the design guys been thinking all this time?  With the midgate not laying flat, if you want to haul drywall, you have to make a FLAT temp. false bed bottom or you run the risk of ruining the sheets on the bottom. Especially if you hit a bump or some rough road.  DOH!!!  :beating:
 
I know where they got the grille design. :D
