My 2007 Z71 came with carpeted floor mats. I quickly replaced the? front ones with PN 12499638 rubber ones. They are black with a gold bowtie. MSRP is $69. I got them from gmpartscheap.com for $51.75 + $10 for fed-ex. Very fast service.

I replaced the ones in my 07 Z71 with the rubber ones also. ?They are okay but not nearly the quality of the ones that came standard in my 03 Z71. ?I did keep the rears from the 03 because I didn't care for the one piece they make for the 07. ?I think that GM could have at least put good quality mats in the Z71s.

I agree, these aren't as good as the old OEM's.but a heckofalot better than the carpet ones

I got 'em too. I just put them on top of the carpeted ones. They're ok, Still prefer the originals though. I'm sure you can still get them if you want through GMpartsdirect.com though.  I kept my old ones for my LTZ but since I sold it to my brother, now he has 'em  :E:  :B:

gmpartsdirect.com was five dollars more than gmpartscheap.com (aka LIBERTY CHEVROLET)

FWIW, the early black mats are a different shape than the 2007.
They may not fit well in a 2007.
In my opinion they don't fit all that great in my 2002 - too much carpet exposed.

I wholeheartedly agree, that's why I replaced mine

Perhaps some of the other 02 fanatics can help me remember but it seems like these floor mats were part of the upgrade when going to Z66 and Z71 packages...  I don't remember the text but it was definitely mentioned in the package somewhere.  Too bad you now only get the carpet when upgrading to the off road package.  Guess that you will never need to get out of the truck!

I do agree that the 02 mats could cover some more of the carpet, especially up by the pedals on the driver side!  Salt really sucks to get out of the carpet!

They fit in my (now my brother's) LTZ fine. He doesn't complain! Better not anyway the deal he got!! :E:  :B:

Those are nice mats, do those cover all of the carpet?  I have my '04 rubber mats, but still too much carpet on the side exposed. I need the mat to extend all the way to the strip.

In the '07, they pretty much cover the complete carpet area.

So are you suggesting I purchase an '07 just for the mats?  Great idea!
It does look like it covers the carpet, very nice....
