2500 w/ DIC Code P0101

Had the Avalanche in for the fuel rail clip recall. Set it bac to stock b4 taking in and reset w/ Hypertech tune - regular fuel- after i got it back. Check engine light came on after about 500 miles P0101 which is the MAP/MAF code after doing some searching- I have a Fram air hog filter element. I will check that- but had it  in 2 yerars and never really bothered cleaning it. 37k miles total on Avalanche

Anyone else had this code? seems the 8.1's are prone to this?

I read in a recent post some folks are cleaning the Maf sensor they say it does wonders.
It may be a cheap fix.
