3" body lift concern

I just read a post where someone wrote in that the 3" body lift has a problem with tranny coolant line rubbing and causing tranny to burn up. I just lifted my Avalanche this weekend and don't see where the line could rubb. Has anyone had this problem? I lifted the truck myself and have done it to all my previous bowtie and have never had this concern. Thank you for any info.

Beans10,

I've been wanting to do this to my AV as well, but also have heard the rumors of that same issue.

I think the only way I'm going to have this done is by an Auto Pro Shop. This way if it get screwed up, they'll be liable.

Hope the best for you, keep me posted.

I don't see how that happened. When you lift the body you release the tyranny lines from snaps. once all the spacers are in-place and finishing the job you snap the lines back into the stock holders.

Who ever did that guys lift was an Idiot. Makes a good product look bad. I bet after the job was done they never looked at again. I say get under the truck and make sure stuff is tight and secure at least every oil change or so. Save your self some heart ache.

Trying not to rant. Later....
