4wd working but not working !!!

when my av is in 4wd hi or low and all 4 wheels are not touching the ground all 4 wheels turn, BUT when all 4 wheels are on the ground and on 4wd hi or low only the rear wheels turn. I get no service 4wd message, and i got stuck twice because of that . What could be the problem

If all 4 wheels are on the ground how is it possible for only rears to move Maybe your not explaining it right. Normally only one front will get power in 4wd but how do you know it is not? It could be working perfect and you could still get stuck.

what i meant to say is that when i drive on soft sand, and i'm in 4wd, only the rear wheels get power, and i end up digging myself in

Maybe your ready for a front locking differential for your off road fun
