I've got the 6" RCD kit with 33" BFG Mud Terrains and Eagle Alloy Wheels. Here are a few shots of mine and just had to include what a lifted AV looks like stuck in the mud! :F:

My 6" RCD can be seen in the links in my signature. Please do a search on suspension lift - you'll find more posts and pics than you'll know what to do with. Give it a try and come back with any questions you have.

Good luck!

I need to win some money so I can lift mine :6:

but it will take alot of $4 wins on powerball to save up.... especialy when I win $4 and spent $10 on the ticket...

what a waste of good modding money...

Here's a pic of a 6" Fabtech w/33" tires. The wheels are KMC Venom and the tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Is there any cutting involved in the install of the fabtech or can a person with a little skill do it himself? Any advice here wuld be great.

Ed

I cant think of it off the top of my head but yes...there is cutting involved..atleast with the RCD kit there is....not sure if Fabtech requires it. I remeber is up front but cant recall what it was....I'll have to call him up and ask.

Would love to make it bro...have to check the schedule...

Mud!

Cool brother....I dont think you want to miss the chance to take your rig onto a military offroad course and then hop into an H1 or H2 and take that down the Humvee course (y)

with a 6in lift are how is the front susp. handled are the torsion bars used or coil over shocks used
??? ??? ??? ???

If you look at my sig picture you can see the torsion bars haging low. There were some members trying to fabricate some coil over shocks for the AV but I believe it was deemed impossible or to much of a hasle. There is a company out there called "True Lift" or "Real Lift"...not sure which one it is, but they have a kit that relocates the torsion bars up under the AV where they belong and "according to them" it does not hurt the ride quality. Hope that helps.

Great.... But where in NC can I get a lift installed. Or can this be done at home if I have some skills

I answered this question in another thread....you will have to scout around....go to your local speed shops and ask around....find somebody with a lift and stop them and ask where they did it.

I guess this means you have never been to Fayetteville NC. Really I have tried all that, there are no listings in the phone book and the only shop around is shady

You may have to venture out of state? Try talking to some people at like AutoZone or your local dealership....see if they can help you out.
