60 Series Tires

I have a 1500 Z66(Black) and I have been thinking of going to a new set of wheels and tires.At tirerack they have a ASA wheel that uses a 275/60/17.My big question is, will the wheelwell keep the dirt and water off the outside of fenders.I had a black truck before with 60 series tires and if it looked like rain the truck was dirty

I have the 265/70/17 with the Michelin cross terrains. I don't really have that much trouble. I have noticed that with the matching mud flaps i put on that match the cladding they protect the sides and the only mud i get hits at the very bottom of the back corner of the bumper.
