I know it's been about 5 years since the tahoe and suburban have had a new look to them, but they should match the look of the silverado with the aggressive style. When are they going to change the look of the tahoe's and suburbans and give it that aggressive look they stole from Avalanche?

I was wondering the same thing. I looked at a Tahoe before buying the AV but I didnt care for the front end.

You can't mess with perfection :)

Then again, everyone likes different things, so who knows.

The answer to your question is "target market". Back when they introduced the "new" Silverado in 1999, it didn't look much different, did it? That's because Chevy truck owners have (at least in the past) been rather conservative. The sytling of the GMT 805 was certainly a risk, but it fit within their target market - active people in their late 30's and 40's. Suburban/Tahoe owners are a bit older.

It's a "design by committee" thing. GM clinics everything. It would be nice to see some more aggressive styling to complement their great powertrains (but I'm younger than their target market).

Hope that helps answer your question...

I saw this today, and how come GM sells the Suburban with the new silverado front clip in Mexico? :B: ???
