I just recently put on 24 inch rims with 305/35/24  tires and 1 problem is they are rubbing the plastic on the inner tire typical figured it would do that.  Once i did this though the ABS lights and Ebrake light came on.  Any suggestions or answers to why this might have happened?? Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks

PS I LOVE AVS!!!
Wouldn't trade this truck!

As well as what year, scan for set DTC's. That would help narrow down a bad module or wheel sensor, or whatever. :)

My AV is a 2002.  I have reset the DTC and then tried to re-program it but still nothing has worked.  I am thinking i am going to have a garage take a look at it.  I am thinking that i have a bad ABS sensor.  The truck still rides great, (new Bilsteins) and stops when i need it to stop but the annoying lights come on after 2 miles of driving.  Once i figure out this site more i'll post some pics and also the slight modifications i have made.  Thanks for your input!!

2002 had recall on some Avy for bad ABS sensor

Thanks for the info on the recall.  I'll have to look into that to see if that could be the problem.

I have a similar problem with my 2002 Z66. It began with a leaking rear axle seal that the service tech said coated the rear wheel speed sensor. Replaced the seals and the problem kind of went away for a while.

Now, from time to time, the abs and brake lights come on and I have no ABS. The lights just come on every now and then. More often if the pavement is wet. Usually when I shut it off they don't come back on the next time I start it.

It seems to be the left rear wheel sensor. When I trail brake into a turn ( a habit left over from my racing days) the left rear tends to lock up.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ABS system? I'm suspecting a loose connection somewhere.
