Started a thread a while ago called "Spring in the Winter" or some such title. Ordered and received the Air Lift 1000 product for my AV Z71 thinking that I would have time to make the mod in the winter. No such luck -
The instructions that came along with the product includes cutting a 1" hole in place of the 1/4" hole on circular rubber pad at the top of the rear springs.
How would one get to and cut a 1" in such a locations?
Later I browsed around some of the posts and found someone that did this mod. I don't recall who because his mods appear on an off-CAFC site. I'd really like find out how he made those cuts ...or if he did them at all ...and if he is having trouble if he didn't make the cut.
Could whoever made this mod to his/her AV please let me know how you cut the 1" hole on the rubber pad above the spring I'd appreciate it.
BTW, what is that rubber pad called - hate not using the proper term!
Thanks guys!!!
