I don't have mine mounted behind the boards.. but in the bed.

that looks good but it takes up alot of space on the bed. either i bolt a set of tanks on the frame rails, underneath the front or rear bumper or behind the running boards

What about a power tank?

i am in zip code 11370. no place to refill the tank. cannot find a place for liquid co2. the only place i found is a company called pesto, but no co2. only oxy, nitrogen and other gases for welding.

Wait a minute  ??? You are on long island and cant find a place.

Chk; welding supply housed and restrant suppliers, or sporting good stores.

I did a google search for Long Island and found 5 listings that may be in your area...

CLICK THIS LINK

You may have to wait several seconds for the location search data to load on the
blue screen

If these don't help...try your yellow pages again...and look under "fire extinguisher services"

I personally find it hard to believe that you don't have them in your geographic area...and close to you also...

spare tire location?  2 5 gallon tanks, 2 compressors.  lost the mounting location for a spare that no longer fits.

one of my next mini mods will be adding a quick connect for an air hose, just in case its needed.

thanks i will call today or tomm morning. i will then report back.

finally got around to adding my quick connect for an air hose.  Took longer to jack up the truck and drain the tank than it did for the install of the connector.

hmmmm very interesting setups, but it is impossible to install anything under the truck due to the rediculous temperatures here in kuwait, the air tank will probably explode  :badidea:

I have an oasis xd2000 with 2X 81/2 gal tanks for 17 gal at 200 psi I can take all four 37's from 13#s to 40#s in a couple mins

Just FYI the easiest place I found to get my Powertank filled at was a fire extinguisher recharge facility, they only charged me $15 to fill it. All the welding companies said they'd have to send my tank out to get it filled and it could take a week or longer. I just took my tank to the facility and in 5mins it was filled. You should have plenty of those places out on LI.

i found one in deer park LI that is opened on sat. the others are closed on sat. yes it costs me $12 and a 1 hour drive. they fill it to 1000 lbs. i have so far aired up 6 times from 15-18psi to 37 psi. the preasure is down to 650 lbs. now i figure i could air up 12 times on a 10lbs bottle.

i will also purchase something called a co-flater for $80. with it you can use the co2 cans used for paintball guns to air up. i will have 4 co2 cans for paintball just in case of emergancy and leave the 10lb powertank at home- just in case the truck gets broken into. its best to loose the paintball refills then to have a $400 powertank stolen.

i was told 1 can of paintball co2 tank will air up 1 tire from 0 psi.

with the powertak i can air up all 4 tires in 10 min.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN TO HAVE TO WAIT 35 MINUTES USING THE MOST POWERFULL PEP BOYS CYCLONE AIR COMPRESSOR.

Hey! you got a link to the Co-Flater

I get my paint ball tanks filled for free. >:D two 20oz's

Just tried the Staun air down valves last weekend. Work great (y)

used my colman 12volt pump to air up during lunch. 18 psi to 36psi took little over hour.
