Any 04 Avys with Viper 791xvs?

Let me know if you have one of these guys installed on your truck? Any functions lost? Anything to look out for? I refuse to buy anything else but the Viper, so hopefully someone has some feedback about it...

I'm intersted in exactly the same feedback.. in addition what did you pay for the part and full install.
- control of windows
- control of sunroof
- remote start
- tailgate sensor

I've been quoted about $1,300 for the Viper 791 a few places...is this in the ballpark.

With the windows you are looking at about $1200.00..The newer Av's are hard and take a ton of time to do. The windows I have it done BUT will NOT recommend them to any one with the av And DEI won't do it. It is a BIG PAIN in the Butt. Alarm with remote start runs about $700-800.00 for the Av..

Well, finally had a chance to beat up on my local dealer.
Here is what I got.

791xv
two 530t modules
one GM passlock unit

total out the door-$675.....
Done deal, purchasing today....

did you get the remote start working? i got an 04 and put in clifford g5 in it and cant get the remote start to work. it sounds like it trying to start but then nothing like its outta gas.

lowest price i got for the 791 is 450.00 looking to get it installed this weekend on a 2002 av

Well, the alarm itself was only 375, but then, all the toys plus install came out to 594.40 (talked them down a few more bucks).
