I have a set of carbon fiber tailgate and cladding AVALANCHE letters that need installed. They were going to get put on at the last GTG I attended but it rained the whole day! I got these at the Secret Santa exchange and am wanting them on! If you have done these and want to give it a try at the Nationals let me know, I am sure we can squeeze some time out to do them. I don't trust my skills in this area............

When it rains its a good thing with decals..!!!!
I put my flames on in the rain..  Worked out great...

I could do it for you. but I'm not gonna be there.

I think it was the installer not wanting to get wet.

I'm sure we can find time to hook you up! Just try to get it done BEFORE happy hour!? ?>:D

Thanks, yea, I know the drill......... I may even buy a drink for the installer, you never know!

Ill be there Butch. Ill help ya out.  Ill bring my squeege (y)

If you don't get it done let me know and I'm sure we can meet when I have to make one of my runs to Campaign or Springfield and run East a little bit.

I have installed mine with no problems.  And by the 3rd set of "Avalanche" letters for the cladding I learned a little trick that made it a bit easier.

Not only will I be there, but odds are I will only partake in adult fermented beverages on one evening....if that.

I will be happy to put them on for you.  (y)

Michael? ?

It looks like with your practice on the AVALANCHE LETTERS (you are talking about those small ones on the cladding, correct?) you have that job! BlueDevil you are in charge of the larger tailgate letters with help from anyone else that can do it, I am not very good at this type of thing.

Thanks to all who offered, now, who knows how to put a Belltech lowering kit on? >:D  :kidding: I can wait on it, I think it would go a lot smoother with air tools and a good garage......

ahhhhh CLiff rolls with a good stock of tools... I am sure AFTER discussing the install at happy hour, we can put together a team to knock it out in the parking lot!  >:D

you are kidding, right?  I think I have all of the parts but don't want to tie you guys up for as long as it might take. It is a full Belltech kit including the front drop spindles. The rear is susposed to be a 5" drop and I also bought a kit that relocates the rear sway bar and the trailing arms to better align the driveshaft. Of corse there are Nitro Drop shocks all around. Sounds like a lot of work to me but then I don't know what I am doing!

Let me think if you are in Owosso Mi saturday someone might be able to help with this. ???  >:D

lots of soapy water

Neither do I... but that's nothing a few shots of liquid courage can't overcome!? >:D

I am game to help on this, but after a few drinks of bottled brains we might install the parts upside down and give you a 5" lift.  Dare you chance it?

Very well, a simple reminder when we get there might be in order, but I will be more than happy to help.
You can look mine over if you like, but they are on square and the edges are not lifting so I must have goofed something up right.

I am LOWERED! I was wanting to get the kit put on before the NATIONALS and because of Didit and his son it is installed! After the drive up if any of you guys have the tools I would not mind someone checking the torque of a few key bolts!  Everything was torqued to spec but checking on this after the drive seems like a good idea to me..........

Oh yea, IT LOOKS GREAT!
