Really liked the look of this grille set and was poised to purchase, but one site noted that cutting of bodywork would be required.? Other sites didn't mention it, so just wanted to know if anyone's installed this set (grille and bumper tow hook inserts) and if there is indeed any cutting involved.? Thanks!

you might consider this...i went ahead and put a stock chrome gm grille on my o7 av, it is a complete replacement and you dont need to worry about it looking like a cheap insert or cutting up your truck. the grille that came on your truck is clipped on and comes right off (there is a little bit of a fight).
the chrome chevy bowtie comes seperate, i ordered that from www.trucksnvans.com for the front and back.
i dont have pics in front of me but if you are interested i will be glad to post them.

Thanks for the feedback.  Yes, please post your pics...I've love to see!

chevy doesnt have the 'bumper grilles' but i opted for a couple of chrome towhooks (they are  supposed to be in those slots) to match the grille and rims. ive got them in my garage, i might put them on this weekend.

Okay, cool.  Thanks!  When you install the hooks, please post those pics too.  Would be interesting to see how it looks with the grille update.  Thanks again!

managed to get those chrome hooks on this morning. not quite as flashy as that t-rex setup, but i am quite pleased with the results.

i guess my pics didn't make it the first time. at a second glance, those t-rex grilles do look better than most, but i would still be cautious about cutting or drilling if it isn't necessary.

this is the direct link to the gm grille, the gm part # is 19169494. the shipping was ups ground from ohio and was about 20 bucks, but it was at my door in about 4 business days.
