Well hello Texas and those members who know me well - I guess most of you know of my wifes upcoming surgery and my need for some time off work to help her through this issue. WELL today I was told my services at The Shop I work at are no longer required as the shops money has not been managed well enough to continue to operate with so many high paid personel and as there is the owner, his brother in law and me in upper management you can imagine I had little chance of surviving company lay-offs. So not only am I having issues with my wife now I have no job (of course only for a short time). I am however still involved with this club and all of you - SO please bear with me on this and know I care a great deal for you all and plan on continuing to help out and participate as much as I possible can.

Thanks so much for all your support and for those that come to the shop - dont go anymore untill you hear from me as to where I am going to be relocated. I have 3 different options bidding now - so lets see how it goes. Wish me luck!!!! (y) ;) :) :D

Good luck Sir. (y)

You could always follow me out to NJ >:D :2: >:D

Thanks for the offer - But the wife has a great job here and no way I could get her or any of my 4 kids to up and move from the Great State of TEXAS! Maybe you should stay here with us! (y)
Course the way my luck has been going you may want to get far away from me before you get hit by a stray bolt! :cautious:

Wow, a shocker! I didn't see that coming. I just took Friday off so that I could come on out for an oil change and inspection. :6:

Richard, if you need something, please let me know.

Sorry to hear about your job Richard. I'm sure you can find another job fast.

I'd stay here if I could, but the Air Force wants me in Jersey. I'm really going to miss the folks around here, not just club members (they're everywhere). I've spent my life moving, both as an Air Force brat and in the Air Force myself, and this is the first place I have found where I feel completely at home.

Thanks Roland - I will be fine the focus for the next couple weeks is going to be Janet and her back surgery. I have never been without a job if I wanted one - I have 6 weeks of pay coming so I am in no hurry to make a move to fast - I will look around and weigh my options. ;) Hope to see you guys soon!

I believe I feel a Hooters party coming on to celebrate my new job When I get it! (y) ;)

MMmmmm you know we have a need for an Avalanche experienced service person down here. Fancy a trip down under? Actually with only 2 of them down here the income potential may be a bit limited.... how about a holiday? (y)

Sorry to hear about your recent events... I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

I can see we're going to get along just fine in NJ. :)

Seriously though, sorry to hear the news, I'd just like to add to the group that if there's anything any of the other guys can't do for you, I'd be happy to do what I can for ya.

:0: Drayton's wife?

Keep your chin up Rich! I have been there, and things usually get a heck of alot better! Good to hear your wife has a great job. That allways helps out.

I have a hunch that the Portland Group could help find a home for you up here in God's country if you wanted to give it a try....

Best wishes and let us know how to help!

Bummer dude but I am sure you will make it through and probably find a better job

Sorry to hear about your employment problems. You do have a really good attitude about the whole thing. I hope you find a job and your wife recovers quickly.

I do have to say, maybe the best thing for you to do would be to get a management job at Hooters. Now that would be a celebration!!!
