So my wife got home late from a baby shower (I do the cooking in the house) so we decided to go out. It started snowing very hard right after we left and the roads slicked up. People were sliding and driving slow.
So I'm following behind this F-150. I can tell it's a 2-WD because the back is wobbling (either that or the driver doesn't know what the heck they're doing). My gut was telling me to pull into the other lane and pass him, but I figured he'd be going straight at the light (I was turning right). So nope, he turns right.
So we start up this snow covered hill and he has all sorts of problems. The back end slides out a couple of times and I'm trying to be patient and keep my distance. So then the road opens back up to four lanes, and he strattles both of them. I'm trying to pass on the outside and he won't let me!

So then the road opens up to four lanes with a turning lane and they start going over to the left side. The road is now going downhill instead of uphill to a traffic light and the light turns red. So then I go to the right to pass on the inside two lanes - and they go right blocking me from passing again!!!

So now the guys in the F-150 2-WD are along side of me at a red traffic light on a snow covered road. I lift my left hand up and press the 4-HI button. This turkey isn't going to do this again. Ya, right now the two people in the F-150 think this is all pretty funny.
So the light turns green, the gas pedal goes about 3/4 of the way down and my Z-71 launches off of the traffic light without the slightest hint of a wobble or wheel spin. It's no contest.

Then comes the sweet payback, pull in front of them and slow down for my left turn I have to make pass the light - I hook it with no problem.
Later coming back some yutz in a VW Bug (new one) tried to compete with me on a hill climb in the snow - wanting to get in front before it narrowed down to two lanes. Ya - right!

The Avalanche should come equipped with a disclaimer on it's tailgate -
"Warning: this truck is equipped with a fire breathing 5.3 liter V-8 engine that produces 285 HP and 325 pound feet of torque. Trying to outrun it may be hazardous to your health."
