ATVNews.com Review

It's about time these other people found out what we already knew. The Avalanche is the best all around vehicle made today! :B:

Nice! Now if Car and Driver and Motor Trend can write an update to their last articles:
CD: Charting the Changes for 2002: October 2001
MT: 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche: August 2001

I sent them an email, lets see if they come over and visit
Told them about the family and invited them over for a look.

I liked the article. I wonder if they tied a quad down to the top of the panels? I know it will hold the weight of most of the quads out there. If you put down a sheet of ply to evenly distribute the load there would be no question.

From the sounds of it, the author is very hyped by driving and using the AV. Of course, no other vehicle compares to the all around versitility of the AV.

What is the best way to get the article writers to include a link to this site? If they want the reader to really learn more, there is no better source. Period.

The article this post pertains to does state that they are going to be putting out two more in short order. We got to get their attention some how? Come on this is a pretty creative/innovative group. Let's hear it. Maybe there are some mods we do that they could find useful?

I thought about sending the author a nice email invite with a PDF brochure attached. So I clicked over to the 'Meet the Staff' section. They are all in Minnesota. Where are our MN AVs ? ! ? !

Good job Zeeya2000. I like the the idea of sending them the PDF version of the club brochure that PDXKevin had, also. That might get their attention.

We are here. ?I just read this post and the article. ?Maybe I should give those boys a ring and let them know about us.

Jon

A call would be nice. But what do you think the impression would be of a 'little' run of the MN chapter stopping down to see them?

I would be up for that. ?I don't know how busy everyone is with the holidays coming up but I will put the word out and see.

We may actually run into some of these guys in January up north. ?We are going up to watch some ATV and bike racing on ice. ?Yes I did say ice. ?I'm going to see if any of these guys may be going.

Jon

I wish I could go with you. I especially miss watching the snowmobiles race over open water.

I would vote to find the biggest Av hater to walk the planet....give him an Av.....and then give him your run of the mill pickup truck.....assign him some tasks...various things of course....and at the end let him decide which he would prefer....let them be the judge...because no matter how many times we tell these nonbelievers how great these trucks are...they are only going to realize it for themselves... :B:

I am one of the producers for the TV show Sport Truck Connection which is aired on the outdoor channel and we voted the AV #1 in the SUT category and gave it our ALTAS Award. you can visit the shows website at www.stconnection.com
