Auto Dim Mirror, Not Dark Enough

My rear view mirror doesn't seem to get dark enough. Compared to the mirror on the door, it seems about 50% brighter. Does anybody know of an adjustment?

No adjustment as far as I am aware of. Is your back window tinted ?

Mine tints way down and gives the cars lights behind us a kind of green hue

sorry to go off topic, but isnt the back window already? i mean mine was pretty dark already. i did tint the other 4 however (35% each) and the truck has a really clean look.

You can turn off the auto dimming feature, check the manual, maybe yours is turned off. I don't know if turning it off also turns off the drivers side.

My complaint is that with the rear window tinted the rear view mirror works great but the side mirror is still too bright (not tinted window for it to look through).

Was there ever a fix to this issue? Or do I have ot give it to the dealer to replace? There is no adjustment that we can do to the existing mirror?
