Auto show rebates and last order date?

A friend of mine told me to wait until the Cleveland Auto Show because the manufacturers usually give an added $500.00 off during that show, anyone ever heard of this? Second question, when is the last about date to order a new 04? I am pretty sure I want to order one and the auto show isn't until I think March. I already missed out on the Arrival Blue for ordering so I guess I can wait.

Can't speak of the Cleveland show, but for the San Jose show I usually go to they give you a $100 off certificate (it's from the dealers not the manufacturers). I'd expect that any deals specific to the auto show would require you to take delivery from dealer stock so might make it more difficult to order.
