That is an average price, but they overcharge for shipping. The best deal I have seen around is from the two site sponsor dealers.

I ordered mine from GMpartsdirect for the exact same price. You will find it much more expensive to get it from a dealer. I ordered mine and recieved it in about a week. It will 193.00 with tax.

Question: Does the AV tent or has it had an NFE logo on it, because I thought when it first came out it was a North Face tent.

That is the correct address. If you order the tent it will have Chevy Avalanche markings on it. Not sure if it was an NFE tent before.
BTW. Used it over memorial day weekend and had a blast!!!!!

We have had both the old style AV tent and the new style AV tent. Both are simlar to put up.
The first time takes the longest. Practice it at home. There are short cuts. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS! very helpful for reference.
Do not tightent the straps until everything (and I do mean everything ) is in place. Tighten it down and you are ready for some heavy winds!
We love ours and can get the tent up inside of 5 minutes now. That includes putting the midgate down and removeing the covers.
Both styles have their advantages and disadvantages. Either one, spray with a water replant the first couple uses for good measure. We do the first couple of campout each year.
