Avalanche On Trucks Show On TNN

The show Trucks on TNN is doing a test drive on the Avalanche on todays show. it is on right now as I am typing this for anyone interested. And if I am not mistaking, their Red AV has amber drl's

I will let you know what they say about it after the show.

My bad, their truck did not have amber drl's , but they did have a Z71 and took it mudding . They pretty much like the truck overall, and gave it a pretty good review . Hey , I wonder if we can talk them into doing some of our mods and then showing up at the National Meet, to see how they compare to what we come up with

That was an old show, but lots of fun to watch. I was pleasantly surprised at the positive review, and the mention of how much the AV lent itself to modification

You know actually I already volunteered for that. I sent them an email about a week ago asking if they'd be interested in an AV test vehicle. I told them about the National Meet and how much publicity they'd get. I mentioned the website too. I was hoping they might consider being at least our local chapter sponsor. They film their shows here in the Nashville area. I've seen a few of their completed project trucks around and they're pretty sweet.
I may have to give them another buzz to see if they're interested.

I also contacted them about using my AV as a "test modder" about 3 months ago. Never heard anything back from them.

I wish I had cable at times. There are some shows that I wish I could see. Oh well. I will just have to take your word for it.

Has anyone attempted to tempt the TV shows to the National Meet?

The Trucks test on the AV first aired at the end of last summer. I have it on tape, it was a good review, and I have seen them reply it.

Now if they would only do a Project Avalanche that would be cool!
