Avalanche SS Supersport?

hey all, while in the dentist's office today I spied a performance truck magazine and gave it a going over.
It did my heart good to see more and more AV's featured in articles and advertisements for mods

Now I was peering closely at one advertisement and I swear that in the plastic cladding on the door where the word "Avalanche" is normally placed... I saw "Avalanche S/S" !!! Now, am I just out of the loop or is this something new?

I think this was posted previously in regards to the eaton lockers. Try a search on it.

I like the overall proportions of the tires and lift. I am not taken by the colored cladding though. Especially since the paint would pop 'when' you scrape it while off road. Your not offroading right if you don't get stuck every-once-and-a-while.

I noticed that too. Is that on a 1500 or 2500? Supplied by GM and iunstalled by dealer: would that mean the warranty stands? Let us know what you find out.

I also noticed that it mentioned power folding mirrors as SPO. There has been interest about that, also.

Hmmmm... might be worth checking out what other toys they may have....

Anybody who does any reaserch should report back.

Thought some one may like this Avalanche SS I found in ?AutoWeek mag.. The story didn't say a word about this truck but there was a story about the 03 Silverado SS that is going to the showrooms in the first quarter of 03.
