I saw more Avy's today than ever before in northern Illinois area. I only drove thru McHenry, Johnsburg, and Fox Lake and had to see at least 15 different ones. Oddly enough none of them were 07s. I did see one that had ambers on Rt. 31 about 8:30 am. I was in my wife's 07 Tahoe coming from the car wash, so I had no Avy recognition :B:

In a couple months there'll be a TX Av up there. We'll be visiting our Son and Family in Oswego in May. Think we'll take a day trip to Volo while we're there to check out the Auto Museum. :D

You guy's are right. I was thinking that for the last month. I'm down in algonquin and sometimes I'll see 10 AV's a day going between Algonquin and Elgin. Never a set a ambers. I just never meet up with any.

When I got my 2003 (in 2003), I rarely saw another Avalanche. Now, they are more common than Camaros when Camaros were "everywhere". Avalanches are seen all over NW Indiana and SE Chicago suburbs. Regarding "ambers"--rarely see them. I still see a lot of Avalanches with the one DRL (daytime running light) burned out.
