Hey all,

I definitely am no rep for this company but they make some kick arse speakers at a fraction of namebrand. Its a local company here in British Columbia but I gotta admit they sound OUTSTANDING in my avalanche!

And if anyone is shoppin for components .....like I was. I bought my set for $240 CAD which equals out to like $150 us and thats way cheaper then the $400-500 prices I was seeing in the stereo shops.

But dont take my word....hell will post a picture of em installed tommorow. These sound great!

Think their website is

www.avisound.com

Check out the reviews they had from some of them car show magazines. I already recommended them to a buddy of mine with a GMC for a replacement for stock. Trickiest part my drunk arse found was trying to find the right spot to mount the crossover. Drilling into a 40K truck always hard:)

AVI has been around for years in car audio competition cars, but they have never received much fame and fortune along the way. They do make a great product though, like you said. They're better known than Wavelength amps at least. The only audio/ex-mobile audio company that really did much that was Canada-based that I can think of was Blade. Blade amps were built by Indigo, who build amps for API, who manufacturers Energy and Mirage speakers. Unfortunately, Blade amps were notorious for failure, despite being incredibly cool amps; this is what made me skip them when I built my first competition car in the early 90's when the Blades came out. Oh well, enough about Canadian audio! ;)
