Well we have members all across the state, however in some areas there is not enough members to form thier own gtgs really, plus it is scary planning your first GTG if you have never been to one and do not know what it is about.... so here is my plan

Through out the year we will have weekend getaway GTG's throughout Arizona....

We need to do a gtg some time this year I feel in the general area of the following

Tuscon
Payson
Flagstaff
Sedona
Lake Havasu

These GTG will need to be planned at least 1-2 months in advance to give everyone time to organize to have as many members as possible attend.

This will help the members accorss the state enjoy a gtg, and hopefully get ethusiastic with planning GTG's in thier area and get the Arizona Club to grow more active...

So far I have an Idea for a weekend in Tuscon. The following are my thoughts on GTG ideas

we can go to san xavier (spell??) old tuscon, and the desert museum

Please add ideas, comments or suggestions. I would really like to hear from those who live outside the Phoenix area.

Regards,

Grey

I think its a good idea. (y)

There is a place in tucson that is similar to a rawhide setting. This place had a great resturant called pinnacle peak. The last time we were there the resturant was not open til after 5pm on weekends. We both had a filet mignons which tasted pretty good. The filet price was about $12 a piece. The total bill was $30 with drinks. Usually it ends up to be about $45 dollars at other places because the filets are $20 a piece.

Here is a link to the place:

Wonder if Pinnical Peak is the same outfit that has a place in N. Scottsdale?
You can count me in for a Tucson trip, I'll bring my children if I have them.
