Just two days ago, the AV was in for an oil change and tire rotation and yesterday, there was a weird squeaking noise when moving. Took it back to the dealer today and the diagnosis is that a new shock has to be ordered. Has anyone had any problems like this with their shocks or was it just probably something wrong that happened during the tire rotation?

Bad Right-Front Shock

I have had the sqeak in the right front for about 4 months now, & have been unable to get it corrected.
Good luck, when the shock comes in I hope it clears up the noise.

I just brought mine in this morning for the misterious squeek noise. They determined the cause and are ordering new front shocks. Mine is a Z71 - their seems to be a lot of this going around.
Mine was perfect until I about killed a guy one day and had to slam on the brakes. Ever since then the front squeeked. I took it in and had the front two shocks replaced free with warrenty, and they did the PCV valve at the same time.

What's the deal with the PCV valve? Where is it located. Perhaps I will have them change this also.
