Basslink Is A Great Fit!

The basslink fits perfect in the avalanche. The key is to remove the plastic shield that lines the rear seats. Simply unscrew the shield and your good to go. The sound quality is above average and the power is plentiful. If you need more bass than one basslink can provide I would be surprised. It s a ten inch woofer amplifed by 200 watts that is intended for the trunk of a car or the cargo space of a s.u.v. This thing bumps >:D! I listen to everything from Pink Floyd to Nelly and it all rocks hard. Thank god I had the sub level control installed under the dash because this beast toned down is still a monster. This is a concept for the realisitc music listener. But even my little ghetto smurf brother admits that the basslink pounds!
The basslink is a great alternative to many of the elaborate projects I have read on the site. If anyone has further questions please feel free to reach out. I'll post picks if anyone cares enough. The basslink was a great solution and can be had at a great price. Enjoy Lanchers!

First of all, you can't just go saying stuff like that without providing pictures. We need the darn pictures.

Second, by any chance do you know where we can get the Basslink at a good price?

check out etronics for good pricing on a basslink. Will post pics shortly.

$211.49 including shipping is the best price I found. Do a search through google with basslink as the key word.

Here is a picture of the unit.

HERE are some prices.

I would like to hear one, and also would like to know how you hooked it up. Do you have the Bose setup?

okay, now that i see pics i remember this. i tried one out for fit May or June of last year at a local audio shop. could not latch the seat so i did not even bother trying to mod. the latch was too far away from the seat. i did not want to remove the plastic under the seat. i went with a custom box with down firing sub. still, i had to lift the seat a hair with shims on the driverside rear seat. latches perfect.
i will be willing to do it all over again if i find something that requires little/ no mods. and an enclosure that hits really hard. hopefully i will actually see some of the enclosures talked about on the sight when i go to the STI GTG.
