Bed Cover Strength?

Just wondering, about how much weight can the bed covers hold?

I'm moving some tuff boxes and they don't fit under, and with the weather I was thinking to just load them on top with the other gear under to keep it dry.
 
250lbs for each panel on an 02-06.  I assume the 07 is the same.  I walk on mine and need to r&r to reseal them afterwards, but no actual damage.
 
im not going to try but i let the kids get up there and wash the roof....had a detail guy sat. waxing the truck asked if he could remove them to get the backwindow told just climb on them he was releay impressed..... :B:

I actually tried it out on a truck at the dealership before I picked mine up before trying it on my own, wasn't sure it would hold me...

I use to walk on mine when I washed the top.  That all changed last year when I got them Gatorbacked.  Don't want to scratch them.
 
I've walked on my about 30 times in the past 4 years and no problems...I'm running about 235lbs
 
I happen to know they can take the weight of an AV. I drove into Butch's driveway and he had his freshly painted bed covers lying on the pavement. Of course I didn't see them and drove over one :beating: . Nothing happened to it and it didn't even leave a mark on the new paint.
