So I'm at the Gas Station last night, when an 02 Av Pulls up to the Pump Next to mine. Guy has his stock wheels Chromed, etc, etc. His Truck Looks good!!!!

He comes over and says "How do you like your truck?" I tell hime I think they're great trucks. Then he says "Is that an 03? I really like how they moved the z71 Emblems to the C Pillars!!"

I couldn't believe it, he actually thought my 02 was an 03. Its amazing how the fine details are the ones that truly stick out.

Ahh My poor little puppy :-[

When we cut horses, we always throw them up past the horses head. That way, they never look back!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a bunch of ricers come up to me the other day and tell me that my Av was "tight". (y)
I was surprised 'cause ricers don't usuually like big vehicles.

Mrsdanlwil and I were noticing the turned heads tonight and commented on how even a two year old truck could catch their eye.

We are so used to it that we hardly notice (except for the stares)  :B: :B:   ;D

I was taking my daughter and a friend to a concert downtown Houston last week and the friend said 'why is everyone looking at us?', my daughter and I looked at each other and at the same time said 'It's the AV'!!! She could not bellieve that a truck could get so much attention.

Oh to be 18 again! But I guess I would not of had the AV at that time either.
I to have the z71 pillar decals and get a kick out of the looks I get when pulling up next to or driving by another AV!
Love this thing
A couple times I've had folks beside at me at a light looking the Av up and down, and back and forth. Then they'd focus on the Mountain SS decal. I guess trying to figure just what this "SS" is, or what makes it an "SS". Or it was the first WBH they'd seen and just didn't know what it was. Ain't it great?

You mean you were in such a cool vehicle that you weren't embarrassing your daughter in front of her friends?? ;D

Interesting that you ask that question as my 15 year old son will only allow us to take him places in the AV....'cause he says we've got the coolest ride at his school. ;D (I just don't understand what the problem with the old Subaru is..!!)

Yeah, I know what you mean. My 15 year old makes me move the company car and back out the AV to take her to school. I guess she likes it more than the Ford Explorer that the company provides.........
She does have a problem driving it compared to her mothers car, ughhhhhhh maybe it is because I don't let her drive it except in the neighborhood >:D
Definitely tell a difference sitting at red lights, in the explorer nobody pays any attention, but the AV you get people pointing, heck even the older generation have to stare, but i don't know if i want to hear what they are saying......ugh"What have they done to the old style trucks, They just don't make em like they used to"
>:DYa just never know.................
