To all who have access to a Sam's Club. I was walking around looking at all the great deals they have a Sam's Club like a 5 gallon bucket of mayo for like $5 and I saw a Maglight kit. The Maglight kit included the large Maglight and a small Maglight with the Clips for the larger one and.....and it came with all the batteries for only "$19.99". You bet I bought it and the mayo. I love mayo....lol. Well I hope this is news to you guys and I am not just ranting about something stupid, I tend to do that. Later :D

Good find, I'm sure the members who are looking to do this MOD will head to SAMs for the Mayo, I mean the maglite package  :B:

Wish I would have known this sooner!  I went to 6 hardware/retail stores trying to find the mounting clips.  Ended up finally finding them at Ace and got it mounted, but what a pain.  To top it off, got a membership to Sam's club over the weekend, and there it was, whole thing $19.99  :E:

Same here. Unfortunately I do not have a camera and will have to barrow my friends and then I will post pics . I have to take pics of a few things I've done and am doing. Examples: Tailgate panel replacement because mine was damaged and the actuator mod and of course the Maglight mod.

I'm a newbie. I saw this post about Sam's Club so I got a co-worker with a membership to pick it up for me. Just installed it tonight. It's my first mod!

In mounting the brackets. How did you do that?  Did you have to run screws through your lid??

Don't use the screws that came with the maglite! I used some shorter ones. What I did to measure was to predrill a hole for the bracket. Once I was through the first layer of plastic (GO SLOW), I stopped the drill and just pushed it in until it hit the top. Then I measured that and used a shorter screw. I can't remember how long it was...maybe 1/2 inch or less.

Good luck.

Great FIND...
